This year is the 25th anniversary of the GWCT Scottish Game Fair, and to celebrate The Southern Reporter is giving away five family tickets.
The silver anniversary event will run over the weekend of July 5-7, and, once again, the fair is being held in the picturesque and stately grounds of Scone Palace, on the banks of the River Tay in Perthshire. Organisers are aiming to make this the best one yet.
As well as many of the popular events, displays, activities and attractions which visitors expect to see at the fair, such as gun dog tests, clay pigeon shooting, fishing, fabulous shopping, fantastic food and drink, and hands-on fun, the organisers also have a few surprises up their sleeves which will add to the party atmosphere, and they look forward to welcoming visitors old and new.
The Scottish Game Fair, run by the Game & Wildlife Conservation Trust (GWCT), is a real family-friendly event with something for everyone – whether you like to just soak up the amiable atmosphere, participate in the competitions or just ‘shop ‘til you drop’. More than 300 trade stands provide a wide variety of goods, from fashion to fishing, shooting sticks to safaris, and crafts to cream cakes.
Tickets for the fair can be purchased at a discount online in advance at www.scottishfair.com.
However, to win one of the family tickets, all you have to do is answer the following question:
Who runs the Scottish Game Fair?
Answers should be with us no later than 5pm on Wednesday, June 12.
Post your answers, together with your name, address, postcode and daytime telephone number to Game Fair Competition, The Southern Reporter, The Hermitage, Selkirk, TD7 4DA, or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org
