Chaos, comedy, clowning and shoes are the order of the day in Roll Out The Beryl at the Bowhill Theatre.
Elaine Pantling embodies the late, great, British comedy actress Beryl Reid and her spirit and sense of the ridiculous.
She cooks and prepares a meal live on stage while introducing some of Beryl’s best-loved characters such as Marlene from the Midlands, Monica the Naughty School Girl, Conception the Spanish waitress, and a few others.
A Bowhill Theatre spokesperson said: “Find out what made one of our great comic actresses tick as a rich menu of theatre, pleasantry and humour are brought to the intimate setting of Bowhill Theatre.”
Tickets are priced at £12 (pre-theatre supper available) and the show starts at 8pm on Wednesday, November 23. Phone 01750 22204 or visit www.borderevents,com for more information.
