VIDEO: Youth Borders seeks more volunteers
The Southern Reporter and The Berwickshire News have teamed up with Youth Borders in a bid to raise the profile of its member groups and attract more volunteers.
A new series of special features profiling the work done by the various organisations under the Youth Borders umbrella will begin in this week’s newspapers, much of it written and produced by the teenagers themselves.
They are also aiming to carry out video interviews with both their peers and the volunteers who are regular service users and providers.
The project is being led by Youth Borders volunteer coordinator Kai Peacock, who explains in this video interview what he hopes to achieve.
