The Stirling Street bus station is no longer in use for departures or arrivals, and new stances have appeared on Stirling Street and Market Street.

Passengers still have access to toilets, the waiting room, lost property and general enquiry facilities.

Motorists also face a change, with traffic flow in Park Street and Channel Street reversed, and access to Stirling Street restricted. The changes remain until the Transport Interchange opens in the middle of 2015.

Both First Bus and the council have extra staff on duty to assist the public.

Councillor Gordon Edgar said: “Vehicle users and pedestrians are asked to proceed with caution until the new traffic direction becomes familiar.”
