Thank-you to Bowhill’s good Samaritans

May I extend my heartfelt thanks to all those people who came to my aid when my four-year-old granddaughter Ailsa suffered a scalding injury while attending the UNICEF jazz festival on September 9 at Bowhill, Selkirk.

Special thanks must be paid to Margaret and the two men, one who phoned for the ambulance and helped me contact her parents and the other who carried Ailsa to an area where she was put in cold water until the ambulance arrived; to the paramedics and the staff of the Borders General Hospital for their swift action in treating her injuries.

My daughter and her husband would like to express their gratitude to everyone who helped me and Ailsa during this traumatic time.
