A FUN-packed day in Innerleithen will conclude on Sunday evening with the switching-on of the town’s Christmas lights.
The event begins at 2pm with performances from the Tweedvale Pipe Band, St. Ronan’s Primary School Choir and E-Notes in the Caerlee Mill Car Park.
Entertainment continues throughout the afternoon at various locations throughout the town, where shops will also be open. There will be face-painting, a Scalextric challenge, biscuit decorating, mulled wine and much more.
The lights will be switched on by the Dux Boy and Girl at 6pm, followed by a procession to the Memorial Hall for the church service at 6.30pm.
