Students show they care

Borders College, Level 1A Care students recently undertook a fancy dress sponsored walk from the Scottish Borders Campus, Galashiels to Melrose in aid of the Children's Ward at Borders General Hospital. The class took part in the walk as part of the Citizenship Skills area of their course and raised a total of �302. ''Students Edith Burgess, Lisa Hirst, David Bain and Samantha Blackie, who took part in the walk, then visited the hospital to present their cheque on behalf of Care class to the ward.
