Stow’s Naomi in Jam

STOW’S Naomi Chapman headlines the String Jam Club’s open mic night this Saturday in the Salmon Inn, Galashiels.

Naomi’s first gig was at the club at the age of 12. Now 19, she is heading south to pursue a songwriting course at Brighton Institute of Modern Music and a professional career in music.

String Jam organiser Allie Fox said: “Naomi’s dedication and passion for music always shines through in her performances.

“She started singing when she was only six years old and has never looked back.

“Her memorable voice and songwriting deservedly get centre stage in her own special showcase spot at the end of the evening.”

Doors open at 7.15pm and tickets cost £6 – phone 01750 720538 to book an open mic slot.
