IT’S not too late for cyclists to sign up for this year’s Callum’s Trust Big Cycle on Sunday after the event raised £6,500 last year.
There’s a choice of 10, 25 or 50 mile new routes with sponsorship reduced this year to £10, £25 and £50 respectively.
Lorna Mack-Riddell, from Callum’s Trust, one of the organisers, said: “We are hoping that entrants from last year will join us again and are also looking to enlist new cyclists to come along.”
The organisers are hoping to top last year’s total with the cash going towards the Margaret Kerr Palliative Care Unit at Borders General Hospital.
