Jedburgh man Steven Somerville hands over a £1,529 cheque to Borders General Hospital special care baby unit staff – proceeds of a charity tandem skydive at Strathallan airfield in Perthshire. Steven commented: “The special care baby unit
is close to my heart as staff took great
care of my youngest son, Kane, when he was born last April. Kane had to be taken to the unit as he had breathing difficulties and infection.

“All the nurses were wonderful.

“I said that I would repay their professionalism and kindness one day, so what better way than jump out of a plane at 12,000ft.
