TICKETS are now on sale for this year’s Sound Festival.
The Galashiels summer event features a host of musical acts, headlined by a Coldplay tribute act.
Organiser Steve Cass said: “Last year was such a huge success a lot of people are asking when it’s happening again.
“We are releasing a small amount of early bird tickets at £10.
“Once they are gone, Sound Festival tickets will be back to normal price.
“We know it’s tough times for everyone at the minute, that’s why we are giving people the chance to get a ticket at such a good deal.”
Others to appear include tribute acts to Simple Minds and Katy Perry, while Galashiels’ own Craig Jeffrey and Ska band Urang Matang are also on the line up.
A dance tent run by No Strings Attached, as well as kids entertainment and food and drink will be available for festival go-ers.
Sound takes place in Scott Park on Braw Lads Day – Saturday, June 30.
Tickets are on sale in Guess What?, The Trophy Guy and Moondogs Cafe in Galashiels, as well as Selkirk Deli, or from www.borderevents.com/boxoffice
Last year saw the festival successfully return with tribute acts for Kasabian and Lady Gaga, after a one-year absence.
