SNP MSP’s pledge to all her constituents

I would like to thank all those constituents who voted for me in the historic Scottish parliamentary elections.

The mandate and scale of the SNP victory reflects the desire of ordinary people locally and nationally for positive change in Scotland, and it is a privilege to represent Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale in the Scottish Parliament.

As your local MSP, whether you voted for me or not, or indeed did not vote at all, I give you my undertaking to do my best to represent you and to be accessible.

The Galashiels office is up and running again and I will restart my supermarket surgeries in Peebles, Galashiels and Penicuik as soon as practicable.

I will also introduce surgeries in the more recent parts of the constituency and will let you all know in local advertisements where these will be held. For those of you who wrote to me with personal issues during the campaign, once the essential procedures of the reconvened parliament have concluded, I shall be in a position to write to you.
