The Yetholm Sinfonia will visit Morebattle for the first time this month.
The concert takes place on Sunday, October 21, at 3pm, and the programme will feature some of Morebattle’s outstanding wind players.
Geoffrey Emerson of Yetholm Sinfonia said: “The concert has as the main work Mozart’s Grand Partita in B flat, K361, the largest, longest and finest of his great works for wind instruments.
“Those with an eye for the unusual will be able to spot two basset horns, very rare tenor cousins of the clarinet, and of course hear them played beautifully.”
Tickets for this concert cost £4 (Friends £3, students free) and are on sale from Hector Innes Photography in Kelso Market Square and Yetholm’s village shop.
