EDINBURGH band The Simple Touch play the Buccleuch Centre, Langholm, on Saturday, April 16.
The band first appeared at The Buccleuch Centre last year when supporting former Runrig frontman Donnie Munro on his An Turas Tour.
The band remained busy throughout 2010 with a series of gigs at UK festivals and venues, and they also played their first overseas festival gig at Tange So in Denmark. They are due to return to the Scandinavian country this year.
The gig will feature some tracks from their new album, released this month.
The Simple Touch made an attempt to claim the Christmas single number one spot last year with their version of Auld Lang Syne.
They recorded the Robert Burns song alongside Craig Jeffrey, the Galashiels singer/songwriter who recently supported Tommy Reilly at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival.
He will support the group for their Langholm gig, as will Stow teenager Naomi Chapman, who was selected in front of 300 musicians for the final of the Danny Kyle Open Stage awards at Celtic Connections last year.
Tickets are priced at £12 (£10 concessions) for the gig, which begins at 7.30pm.
