REGULAR visitors to the Borders, Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham return to the region for a gig in Selkirk’s Victoria Halls.

The show is being hosted by Melrose’s Merlin Music, whose Academy of Traditional Music lists Aly and Phil as
patrons.

A number of students from the academy are expected to support the iconic pair for the show on Thursday, August 9.

Now in their 26th year as a duo, they are regularly seen and heard on TV and radio, most often on BBC Scotland’s Hogmanay Show, and tireless tour around the country.

Doors open at 7pm and tickets for the gig are priced at £18.50 and can be bought from www.borderevents.com, phone 01750 725480, or visit Merlin Music at Station Gate, Melrose.
