Rotarians box clever to bring festive cheer

Around 100 youngsters in Eastern Europe will receive a shoebox of 'goodies' this Xmas thanks to Hawick Rotary Club's Shoebox Appeal. In a magnificent effort led by Junior Vice President Mairhi Trickett who organised the collection with assistance from Teviot and St Mary's Parish Churches and a class at the High School the members filled the boxes for onward transmission in November. President Scott Elliot, Mairhi Trickett and members are seen sorting out some of the boxes.
