Rory McLeod, fresh from acclaimed appearances at major acoustic festivals this summer, is Kelso Folk and Live Music Club’s guest on Sunday, September 4.
The concert takes place in the Cross Keys Hotel ballroom at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm) with live support. The bar is open until 11pm and tickets (£10/£8 concessions) are available from Pet Sounds, Brown’s Newsagents, ACE Centre, and by contacting the club at firstname.lastname@example.org
There will also be a regular Friday night dual session – 7.30pm to 10pm open mic at the ACE Centre, Abbotseat, and 9pm to late traditional and song session at The Cobbles Inn.
The Cobbles will also be open for informal music sessions on Saturday (day and evening) including outdoor seating if the weather allows, and will have a traditional session on September 4 from 2.30-5pm. All these events are free, and everyone is welcome, especially musicians and singers.
