Hawick Music Live! presents The Rachel Hair Trio this month, featuring Rachel Hair on Scottish harp, guitarist and singer Jenn Butterworth, and Brodie Jarvie on double bass.
The Rachel Hair Trio, described by Hawick Music Live’s Gordon Macdonald, as “one of the leading bands on Scotland’s vibrant folk scene,” will perform “a sparkling blend of melodic harp mastery, rootsy songs and sophisticated rhythmical drive,” at the Heart of Hawick, Tower Mill, on Saturday, March 29, at 7pm.
Mr Macdonald added: “The group has honed a repertoire drawn from traditional, contemporary and international sources to create performances that crackle with character, passion, verve and joie de vivre.”
Their programme will feature music and songs from their latest album No More Wings and previous albums such as The Lucky Smile, Hubcaps and Potholes.
