Great pull for Earlston’s Civic Week
Highlights of the village’s celebrations included games, dances, concerts and fancy dress ... plus the added attraction of a sell-out appearance by hypnotist and ESP specialist Scrodini.
However, perhaps the biggest draw of all was the car treasure hunt, which this year attracted 48 cars for a trail that led David Murray to victory over Doug Welsh and Scott Cannon, who finished in equal second place.
Civic Week organisers also launched an appeal for more people to join the committee for the following year.
