Doddie Aid
Doddie Aid kicked off on New Year's Day, and Borderers are being encouraged to join the 18,000 people who have already signed up to kick MND into touch, mile by mile.

The mass participation virtual exercise event runs for 6 weeks and raises funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, which invests in research to find a cure to the disease.

Participants sign up using an app, and choose a district to represent (the south’s skipper is Stuart Hogg), claim a district snood, and log their exercise miles, with the winning district being the one with the most miles when the event ends.

Everyone is welcome, any exercise counts, and you can even set up leagues to compete against your friends, family or teammates.

The last two years have seen more than 30,000 participants cover 4million miles and raise over £2million for the foundation.
