It’s hard to believe, but it is now a year since your Southern Reporter was given a new look.
Relaunched in compact format after more than a century-and-a-half as a broadsheet, the radical changes brought compliments from readers across the region, including Kelso, Hawick, Galashiels, Jedburgh and Selkirk.
Naturally, there was some sadness as some of our older readers lamented the demise of the historic broadsheet format, but the vast majority were enthusiastic.
“Much easier to read”, “a lot more in it” and “great sports coverage” were typical remarks from readers who spoke to us in the communities across the region, through our letters pages and other correspondence.
As always, we’ve tried to ensure we give you the most wide-ranging and in-depth news coverage from across the Borders, helping you to keep up-to-date with what’s happening in your local communities across the region.
But we’re not ones to rest on our laurels, so, a year on, we would like to hear what you think about your newspaper, and listen to any improvements or changes you would be interested in seeing.
