Nessie turns up in an Ancrum garden!

Last weeks’ storms heralded an unusual sighting in the Scottish Borders when Nessie made a rare appearance in the village of Ancrum.

The eight-foot long creature was made by the Bolland family as part of the Ancrum Go
Gardening Scarecrow Competition. Nessie was made out of recycled items such as squash bottles and cardboard, and covered in moss from their garden. Nessie can be sighted until Saturday, when she will be allowed to roam free.
