Snow flurries hit region again

AFTER snowfall throughout Wednesday morning, Hawick High School took the decision to send pupils from Langholm home early.

Snow had been falling across the Borders since the early hours of Wednesday and it was forecast to continue until the early evening, prompting the school to arrange for pupils to leave at 2pm.
