Right recipe for a healthy start to the day

Pupils from a Jedburgh school had a hands-on lesson in making pancakes and porridge last Friday when the Co-operatives From Farm to Fork project turned up as part of Farmhouse Breakfast Week.
Sally Fleming and Gail Morgan, from The Co-operative Farms, Borders, visited Howdenburn primary to highlight the importance of having a healthy breakfast.
Around 60 pupils learned about the benefits of eating breakfast and healthy food before making their own pancakes, porridge and smoothies, using ingredients from Co-operative farms and food stores.
