A 53-year-old Peebles man has been charged with careless driving after a collision near Walkerburn resulted in the closure of the A72 for two hours.
The two vehicle accident yesterday lunchtime occurred between the Nest Roundabout and Thornielee and involved a Renault Megane and a Royal Mail van.
The Megane ended up on its roof in a nearby field.
The 53-year-old will be reported to the procurator fiscal.
