Hawick clothes shop raided

POLICE are hunting thieves who stole clothing worth £1,200 from a Hawick shop.

The break-in took place between 5pm on Monday and 9.30am on Tuesday at EFM on Buccleuch Street.

The culprits took Fox brand t-shirts, long sleeved shirts and hooded tops from a clothes rail. Inspector Paula Clark said: “We would also encourage people who are being approached and offered Fox branded clothing at greatly reduced prices to come forward.”

Anyone with information should phone 01450 375051.
