Gala crash closes A7

A 28-YEAR-OLD woman suffered an arm injury after a two-vehicle crash in Galashiels.

The woman’s car collided with another vehicle driven by a 66-year-old man at Bristol Terrace at the northern entrance to the town.

The accident at around 4.45pm on Monday forced the closure of the A7 for a short time.

The woman’s condition was reported as not being serious.
