SCOTTISH Borders Prostate Cancer Support Group’s next meeting is on Wednesday, March 6, at 7pm in Borders General Hospital’s Chaplaincy Centre.

Anyone who has this illness, or is awaiting treatment for it, is welcome.

At the last gathering, three members of Selkirk Rugby Club – John Smail, Darren Clapperton and Calvin Henderson – presented a cheque for £765.50 to Anne MacEwan, support group development manager from Prostate Cancer UK.

Speaker Pat Weedall gave a talk on t’ai chi and then had members and partners up to take part in a demonstration of this art.
