Buses targeted by vandals in Hawick

FOUR buses belonging to First have been vandalised in a secure yard at Hawick, writes Bob Burgess.

Police investigating the incident have also confirmed that a fire extinguisher and first aid kit were stolen.

Culprits struck sometime between 8.30 on Sunday night and 4.30 the following morning.

The buses were parked at the former Slumberdown factory on Hawick’s Burnfoot estate.
