A GALASHIELS clothing retailer is appealing for ladies to support their breast cancer campaign.
Bon Marche in the town’s Channel Street wants customers to give their old bras a new lease of life and at the same time help raise money for research into the killer disease.
They are being asked to deposit their unwanted wearable bras in a special bra bank in the shop.
They will be then whisked away to Africa where there is a short supply of affordable bras.
The organisation Against Breast Cancer will receive a donation on the weight of the bras Bon Marche collects – so every bra counts.
