BGH to welcome Charles and Camilla

Royals Charles and Camilla will visit the Borders as part of a three-day Scottish tour later this month.
The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, as they are known in Scotland, will come to the Borders General Hospital on May 31.
The Duchess, as president of The National Osteoporosis Society, will open the hospital's new 90,000 bone densitometry Scanner (DEXA) in the morning, accompanied by Prince Charles.
The Duchess lost both her mother and grandmother to the disease.
The Royal couple will meet patients and invited guests before the Duchess performs the opening ceremony.
The pair are in Scotland to celebrate the 30th anniversary of a project dear to the Prince's heart, the Scottish branch of The Prince's Trust. The new BGH scanner is the result of 10 years' fund-raising and health chiefs say the DEXA machine, which measures bone density, will improve patient care.
Consultant radiologist Dr Andrew Pearson told TheSouthern this week: "We need the DEXA scanner to help identify patients who need treatment and to monitor the success of that treatment.
"I am absolutely delighted to have the DEXA service up and running and it is a great honour to have this officially opened by HRH Duchess of Rothesay," added Mr Pearson.
