Balmoral pupils take centre stage

The latest addition to the playground at Balmoral Primary School in Galashiels is an outdoor stage.
With seats built on the outside edge and a raised platform at one end, the children love to use it during break times and it will also provide an innovative place for teaching in fine weather.
The stage will be used for performances by the Langlee choir and Irish dancing at the school fair on May 17.
