Alcohol allegation

A TEENAGER is facing court after allegedly being caught buying alcohol for 14-year-old girls.

Police claim the 18-year-old girl purchased the drink at the Spar shop on the Langlee housing estate in Galashiels.

A police spokesman said she was identified from closed circuit TV footage and that a report is being submitted to the procurator fiscal.
