A PUBLIC meeting has been called to consider plans for a new pharmacy on a Galashiels housing estate.
The application by Motherwell firm Elixir Healthcare is at 12 Marmion Road in Langlee and has been submitted to NHS Borders.
Judith Cleghorn of Langlee Residents Association said: “There have been one or two concerns about a pharmacy being opened so we felt it would be right to arrange a meeting to hear everyone’s views.”
The meeting takes place at 7pm on Wednesday, November 21 in Langlee Primary School.
Comments are to be submitted by December 3, with NHS Borders Pharmacy Practices Committee making the final decision.
