Kelso set for business hub

PLANS for a new business hub in Kelso, along with replacement public toilets and two bus shelters, have been given the green light.

Scottish Borders Council approved the application – lodged on behalf of the local authority itself – last week.

It will see the demolition of public toilets in the pedestrian lane linking Horsemarket with Woodmarket, and a four-storey building erected in their place.

This will provide replacement toilets, bus shelters and a pend between the two streets, with office space above.
