KELSO band The Manic Shine have announced a date in their home town as part of a UK tour.
They will play the town’s British Legion on Monday, March 19, where they will receive support from young local band Bassment, followed by a date in Berwick-Upon-Tweed’s Red Lion pub two days later.
The indie group, including Kelso brothers Tamir and Orren Karp, also play Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle and London as part of the tour.
Tamir said: “We will be filming our progress during the tour so people can see the shenanigans involved when four guys spend 12 days in a van together.”
The group, who played at Dublin Castle last weekend, have also filmed a video for new single My Woman (I Love Nothing About You) which will be released later this month to coincide with the tour.
And they have released an acoustic version of album track Legs, available on Youtube and The Manic Shine’s Facebook page.
As for the rest of the year, Tamir added: “We are headlining a small independent festival in Enfield, London in June called the June N21 Festival.
“They have been really enthusiastic about having us and they are expecting an attendance of between 5,000 to 10,000.
“As you can tell we’re very busy and look set to be that way for the rest of the year.”
