It’s that time of year again when the sun shines and thoughts turn to picnics and long evenings in the open air. Or maybe not this year.
Whatever the weather, Bowhill’s next theatre production will aim to put a smile on your face.
Presented by The Festival Players Theatre Company, Twelfth Night involves fine acting, colourful costumes and live music.
True to Shakespearian tradition, the story involves mistaken identity, long-lost siblings, forlorn longing for unsuitable people, frustrated longings for the right ones and a rare hullaballoo before things finally turn out in the end.
If the weather is fine the performance will take place in the gardens at Bowhill House, otherwise it will be transferred to the theatre.
Twelfth Night will be performed on Sunday, July 8, at 6.30pm. Tickets are £13 (£10 under-16s and £40 for a family) and are available from the theatre on 01750 22204.
