Hunting hounds are well behaved

Your letter headline last week, Dog owner's hunt ordeal, is really quite sensational.

What piffle. If that’s an ordeal, then poor Ms Brown.

Hounds would not have a “go” at her puppy, or indeed her elderly dog. Hounds are well disciplined and when in pack working to scent.

I have often met our local pack while walking with my dogs – they were all there when I last counted.
