THE Manic Shine are appealing to fans to help fund their first full album.
The rock group, who include Kelso siblings Tamir and Orren Karp in their line up, need £5,000 to pay for the follow-up to EP Blindsider.
Having just completed a 21-date June tour of the UK, including a secret gig in Tamir and Orren’s hometown, they hope to reach their target in time to record the album in October.
In a message to fans, Tamir said: “We’re writing the best music of our lives at the moment and would love the opportunity to share it with you. We think you’re going to absolutely love it.
“Albums outlive us all, as will the memory of how you guys helped us as a band achieve our greatest ambitions and dreams to date.”
The quartet’s latest video for single My Woman (I Love Nothing About You) has had more than 17,000 views on website YouTube.
And they are expected to return to the road for more gigs in September.
