Prostate group meeting

The next meeting of the Scottish Borders Prostate Group will be held tomorrow (July 4) at the Chaplaincy Centre at 7pm, when new members with this illness and their partners will be made most welcome.

Last month’s meeting was held on June 6 and following the usual group business, chairman for the evening, Robin Lindsay, introduced the night’s speaker, Jennifer Croal, from the Friends of Borders General Hospital.

She gave a most enlightening talk on the hard work undertaken by this group to raise funds for equipment and giving help with different projects.

Most of the members had been unaware as to how much had been donated to the hospital over the years by the Friends of the BGH.
