AN Easter event for all the family is taking place in the picturesque grounds of The Haining tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am till 4pm.
Organised by the Haining Charitable Trust, the event is the first of its kind ever held on the Selkirk estate.
There will gun dog demonstrations, face painting, story telling, an Easter egg hunt, woodland walks, and cake and egg decorating for the children.
An open-air market of stalls will include teas and refreshments from the Scott’s Selkirk committee, ice-cream, silks, soaps and organic veg.
Admission for a family of four is just £10 or £20 to include a hog roast, provided by Kennedy’s. Individual admission is £5.
Parking is restricted to disabled drivers, so motorists are advised to use special shuttle bus service being laid on from the High School and Market Place.
