Have your say

If you’re saying goodbye to your Christmas tree today, Scottish Borders Council are letting the public know that their local recycling centres will be open again from today (Tuesday, January 5).

SBC’s website says: “Garden waste cannot be composted if contaminated with plastic bags. Please place garden waste loose into the skip. Any plastic bags used to transport garden waste to the community recycling centre must be emptied and disposed of separately.”

For details on your local recycling centre, at Duns, Eshiels (Peebles), Eyemouth, Galashiels, Hawick, Selkirk or Kelso, visit www.scotborders.gov.uk/.
