A fundraising event in memory of Tweedbank youngster Bruce Scott will be held in the Reivers Bar, Galashiels, tomorrow evening.
Bruce was born with congenital heart disease and throughout his life he had to undergo many operations.
Unfortunately, in March of this year Bruce died from complications following yet another operation. He was just 19 years old.
Now friends and family plan to remember the teenager at a concert, raffle, quiz and silent auction. Bruce Scott Strength & Courage wrist bands will also be on sale.
The event will raise funds for Scottish HART in order to buy a public access defibrillator (PAD). The Borders-based charity currently provides more than 30 PADs across Scotland
Tomorrow’s event takes place between 8-11pm with an open door and everyone is welcome.
