A DECISION will be made tomorrow on whether two matches on a £460,000 football pitch created in the middle of a woodland near Selkirk will go ahead this weekend.
Forest Pitch, by Edinburgh artist Craig Coulthard, is due to host the games involving new Scots on Saturday.
But weeks of heavy rain means an inspection will take place tomorrow lunchtime to decide if the Cultural Olympiad event goes ahead.
A spokesman for Forest Pitch said: “We have to look at the safety of everybody including the risks of slips and falls, and the quality of the experience.
“When we decide if it is going ahead, we will let everyone know as soon as possible.”
The spokesman said if the games are postponed, the matches will be held at a later date.
