Funding:

The project team raised over £11,000 themselves. In addition to the £250,000 lottery grant, other supporters are the Landfill Communities Fund (£35,000), Postcode Lottery (£5,000). Scottish Borders Council helped put together the lottery bid and contributed over £24,000 worth of materials.

The Robertson Trust is expected to provide the final £10,000 this month.

Facilities:

The park will be set up in three circles, with earthworks providing new landscape features. It is proposed that the eastern circle will include swings, monkey bars and a slide set into an embankment. The central circle will have a tractor tyre swing, roundabout and large climbing frame, while there will be a see-saw, slide, play hut and timber animals in the western circle. New footpaths, seats and a zip wire will also be created.
