Eildon Area Forum rolls into Stow Town Hall

An update on the Borders Railway project is on the agenda as Eildon Area Forum travels to Stow Town Hall.

The meeting next Thursday (August 14), at 6.30pm, will include a discussion about the service, train ticketing, disabled travel on rail and potential opportunities from the railway.

There will also be a chance for community councillors and the Borders public to say what they want from area forums in the future.

Eildon Area Forum chairman, Councillor Bill White, said: “Stow will benefit from a station, so it is important people know how the rail service will operate in the village, and throughout the region. I would encourage people living in the Eildon area to have their say.”
