The six Kelso area primary schools competed for the town’s annual Rotary primary quiz title.

In a closely-fought contest against Broomlands, Ednam, Morebattle, Sprouston and Yetholm, Edenside (pictured) came from behind to win the trophy and a place in the next round of the competition to be held in April.

A large supportive audience of family and friends watched the eight-round competition unfold at the Cross Keys and had fun trying to answer the questions themselves – albeit not always successfully.

The evening culminated with the competitors and families enjoying post-match hospitality.
