Dog is now under control

As I was the person Andrew Dunsire was referring to in the recent incident with his dog at Floors Castle (letters, July 5), I thought I should respond.

I am afraid our German Shepherd did quite uncharacteristically bound up to his Cairn terrier and I am sorry that it caused such a scare. She is now kept under close control when being exercised in the grounds.
