Police are hunting thieves who raided a farm near Denholm and have appealed for witnesses or information.
The robbery was discovered on Sunday, September 20, but details were only released on Monday, and it could have happened anytime from September 14.
A shed was forced and the haul included several generators, an a angle grinder, power washer, calliper retractor and a Dyson vacuum cleaner.
Constable Sarah Hemderson said: “We urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the Denholm area around these times, or who knows the whereabouts of the stolen items, to get in touch.
“Be wary if you are offered items of these descriptions at a disproportionately cheap price, or if the seller cannot provide proof of ownership.
“If you purchase stolen items, knowingly or otherwise, they can be returned to their original owners, meaning a financial loss for yourself.”
Information can be passed to Police Scotland on 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Advice on security can be obtained from the police.
