A WOMAN has been remanded in custody accused of killing a man whose body was found on a Peeblesshire farm at the weekend, writes Bob Burgess.
Twenty-two-year-old Eliska Novotna, who address was given as Peebles, was remanded in custody when she appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff today (Monday).
She has been charged with murder and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
The body of 39-year-old Arunus Ramaanauskas from Lithuania was discovered at Easter Happrew Old Farm near Stobo on Saturday morning.
Novotna made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody overnight for further examination.
